1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an act
entitled “an act to incorporate the town of Independence, in the county
of Grayson,” approved March eighteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-
one, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
