tral State Hospital to grant an easement over a strip of land extending through
the Central State Hospital property from the northwestern right of way
line of the Seaboard ‘Air Line Railway to the United States highway, route

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of directors of the Central State hospital at Petersburg, be and
is hereby authorized and empowered to grant to the Virginia Electric
and Power Company, its successors and assigns, an easement for the
construction, maintenance, and operation of one or more pole and/or
tower lines and one telephone pole line for the purpose of transmitting
power by electricity and supporting telephone wires, over a certain
portion of the lands of the Central State hospital, Dinwiddie county,
Virginia; the said easement to be over such portion of such land as
may be agreed to by said board of directors and the said company
and to be conveyed at such reasonable price and upon such reasonable
terms as may be agreed to by said board of directors and said
company.
