county of Richmond, to furnish, in its discretion, by pipe lines or otherwise,
water from the public well at the county seat, to residents of the county, in-
cluding firms, corporations and associations located therein, and to fix the
charges for such water so furnished. [H B 116]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Richmond county be, and it is hereby, author-
ized and empowered to furnish, in its discretion, by pipe lines or other-
wise, to the residents of the county, including all firms, corporations
and associations located therein, water from the public well at the
county seat of said county, to enter into all contracts and agreements
with such residents, firms, corporations and associations, or other per-
sons as may be necessary in connection therewith and to fix the
charges for such water so furnished.
Z. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
