Chap. 73.—An ACT to regulate the catching of fish in certain streams in the county

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to catch, kill, capture, or take any fish
from any of the streams in the county of Dickinson, which flow or
drain, into the Big Sandy river, except by angling with hook and line,
and then only during the open season for catching bass in said county
as provided by law.
2. Any person convicted for any violation of this section shall be
punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars, or by confine-
ment in jail for not more than six months, or both, in the discretion of
the court or jury trying the case.
