Chap. 62.-An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of
Wakefield, approved April 2, 1902, as heretofore amended, so as to add thereto
a new section designated section 18-a, relating to authorizing the said town to
acquire and control a cemetery. [H B 119]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Wakefield, approved
April second, nineteen hundred and two, be amended by adding
thereto a new section, designated section eighteen-a, to read as fol.
lows:

Section 18-a. The council of the town is hereby authorized anc
empowered to provide places for the interment of the dead in ot
near the said town, and to acquire, for that purpose, any existing
cemetery in or near the said town, and thereatter to regulate, manag
and control the same and the interment of the dead therein.
