Chap. 28.—An ACT allowing the costs of printing briefs to be taxed as costs in
the supreme court of appeals of Virginia. [H B 30]

I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That any
party in whose favor costs are allowed in the supreme court of appeals
of Virginta, may have taxed as part of the costs the actual expense of
printing his briefs in said court, not exceeding fifty dollars, upon a.
certificate being filed by such party or his counsel with the clerk of
said court showing the expense of such briefs, which certificate must
be filed while the case is pending in said court, or within ten days after
the decision is rendered.
