veniremen to be prepared by sheriff and sergeants and delivered to the clerk,
and to be shown parties, or counsel. [H B 29]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That every
sheriff and city sergeant, after executing a writ of venire facias for a
petit jury, shall prepare a list showing the name, occupation and ad-
dress of each venireman summoned, and shall deliver said list to the
clerk of the court from which said writ is issued, and it shall be the
duty of the clerk, upon request, to exhibit said list to the parties or
counsel ; but no inaccuracy in said list shall constitute error.
