Chap. 227.-An ACT to prevent trespassing upon church property in the night
time, and fixing the punishment for such trespassing. [H B 195]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person, without the consent of some person
authorized to give such consent, to go or enter upon, in the night time,
the premises or property of any church for any purpose other than to
attend a meeting or service held or conducted in such church.
Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a
trespass and upon conviction shall be fined not less than five nor more
than twenty-five dollars.
