Chap. 18.—An ACT to provide that any bonds and coupons hereafter issued under
the provisions of an act entitled “An act to provide for the retirement of regis-
tered certificates of the State issued to schools, colleges and other organizations,
by authorizing and directing the issuance and sale of two million, four hundred
and sixty-eight thousand, six hundred and five dollars and eighty-five cents
($2,468,605.85) of bonds of the Commonwealth of Virginia ; and to provide for
the payment of the interest on such bonds and the principal thereof at ma-
turity,” approved April 18, 1927, shall be issued under the lesser seal of the
Commonwealth instead of under the great seal of the Commonwealth.

I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That any
bonds and coupons issued at any time after this act becomes effective,
under the provisions of an act entitled “An act to provide for the re-
tirement of registered certificates of the State issued to schools, col-
leges and other organizations, by authorizing and directing the issu-
ance and sale of two million, four hundred and sixty-eight thousand,
six hundred and five dollars and eighty-five cents ($2,468,605.85) of
bonds of the Commonwealth of Virginia; and to provide for the pay-
ment of the interest on such bonds and the principal thereof at ma-
turity,” approved April eighteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-seven,
shall be executed under the lesser seal of the Commonwealth instead
of under the great seal of the Commonwealth as provided in the fifth
section, or paragraph of said act.
2. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with, or inconsistent with,
the provisions of this act, are hereby repealed.
3. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
