Chap. 143.—An ACT to designate the bridge on Route No. 16 of the State high-
way system, which connects the counties of Rappahannock and Madison as the
“James H. Fletcher bridge’ and providing a suitable marker therefor.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
bridge on route number sixteen, of the Virginia State highway system,
which connects the counties of Rappahannock and Madison, be and
the same is hereby, named and designed as the James H. Fletcher
bridge in appreciation of his unceasing efforts to establish an adequate
road system in the Commonwealth. ,
2. The highway department is hereby instructed to carry out thes
provisions by a suitable marker.
