Chap. 100.—An ACT for the relief of county treasurers who, when authorized by
the board of supervisors of their respective counties, so to do, allowed taxpayers
a discount on local levies for the years 1930 and/or 1931, when paid on or be-
fore December 5 of such years, respectively. [H B 96]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all
county treasurers who, when authorized so to do by the board of su-
pervisors of their respective counties, by resolution adopted prior to
January first, nineteen hundred and thirty-two and entered of record
in their minute books, allowed taxpayers a discount on local levies
assessed against them for the years nineteen hundred and thirty and
nineteen hundred and thirty-one, or either of them, when such levies
were paid on or before the fifth day of December of said year, re-
spectively, are hereby relieved from any and all liability on account
of any and all such discounts so allowed by them, respectively, and no
part of any such discounts so allowed by any such treasurer on local
levies for either of said years, shall be charged against him in his set-
tlements for said years, or either of them.
