Chap. 82.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3150 of the Code of Virginia,
relating to the offices and employees of the commissioner of fisheries.

I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
thirty-one hundred and fifty of the Code of Virginia be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3150. At the direction, and with the approval of the gov-
ernor, the commissioner shall establish and equip a permanent office
or offices in some convenient place; and the commissioner is authorized
to employ and remove with cause deemed sufficient by him such clerks
and other employees as may be necessary for the proper carrying on
of the official work on records and accounts in the office of said com-
mission which shall be open at all times to the examination of the
governor, auditor of public accounts, or their accredited agents, or any
interested person.
The commissioner with consent and approval of the governor is
also authorized to engage such other agencies and employees as he may
deem necessary, and fix their compensation with the consent and ap-
proval of the governor.
