Chap. 79.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3 of chapter 573 of the
acts of 1926, entitled an act to regulate the parking of vehicles in the
capitol square, and to protect the grass therein, approved March 31, 1926,
regulating the speed limit of motor vehicles in the capitol square and pre-
scribing penalties for violations thereof. [H B 99]

I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion three of chapter five hundred and seventy-three of the acts of
nineteen hundred and twenty-six be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
Section 3. No motor vehicle shall be operated in the capitol square
at a rate of speed in excess of fifteen miles per hour. Any violation
of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars
nor more than, twenty-five dollars.
