Chap. 445.—An ACT to authorize counties containing a city of the second
class, which constitutes a magisterial district thereof, to exempt property
of manufacturing establishments and works of internal improvement located
on government property, situated in the State of Virginia, from local tax-

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That as an
inducement to their location therein the governing bodies of the counties
in this State containing a city of the second class, which constitutes
a magisterial district thereof, be, and they hereby are, duly authorized
to exempt from local taxation for a period not exceeding five years,
the property of manufacturing establishments and/or works of in-
ternal improvement located on any United States government reserva-
tion in Virginia, geographically situated within such county.
