Chap. 425.—An ACT to authorize the State highway commission to cooperate
with the persons who are given the right to establish a marine museum in
any county in Virginia adjoining any city located on navigable water and
with a population of thirty thousand or more inhabitants, under the pro-
visions of a bill for that purpose introduced at the present session of the
general assembly, and to make certain changes in the State highways ad-
jacent to and extending across the property of such person or persons
establishing such museum. [S B 393]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
State highway commission of Virginia be, and is, hereby, given power
and authority to cooperate with the person or persons who may estab-
lish a marine museum in some county in this State adjoining a city
located on navigable water, with a population of thirty thousand or
more inhabitants, under the provisions of a bill introduced at the
present session of the general assembly, and to make such changes
as the State highway commission may deem necessary or proper, in
any State highway adjacent to the property which may be acquired
by such person or persons for such museum development or which
may extend across such property.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
