Chap. 3.—An ACT to legalize and validate certain outstanding bonds of the city

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all
bonds heretofore issued by or on behalf of the city council of Alex-
andria and now outstanding are hereby legalized and validated, not-
withstanding that said bonds shall become due and payable more than
thirty-five years after the date of their issuance.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its

passage.
