Chap. 292.—An ACT to repeal all special laws of local application relating to
game, inland fish and dogs passed by the general assembly of Virginia which
adjourned March 19, 1920, and all such laws passed prior thereto; and
certain other laws of local application relating thereto. [S B 314]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all
special laws of local application relating to game, inland fish and dogs
passed by the general assembly of Virginia which adjourned March
nineteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty and all such laws passed prior
thereto relating to game, inland fish and dogs be and the same are
hereby repealed.
2. The following acts of the general assembly of Virginia and all
amendments thereto are hereby repealed:
An act for the protection of fish in the Nottoway river and its
tributaries in the counties of Sussex and Greensville, approved Febru-
ary twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two. ,
An act for the protection of fish in Buchanan county, approved
February twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two.
An act for the protection of deer in the county of Mecklenburg, ap-
proved February twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two.
An act prohibiting any person from shooting from any duck blind
belonging to another in the water of the Potomac river adjoining the
county of Stafford, approved March tenth, nineteen hundred and
twenty-two.
An act for the protection of ring-necked pheasants in Shenandoal
county, approved March fifteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two.
An act to authorize the killing of elk in the counties of Botetourt
Rockingham and Rockbridge under certain conditions, approved Marck
fifteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two.
An act to prohibit the use of giant powder, dynamite and other
explosive substances injurious to fish, in any of the water courses of
Lee county, approved March fifteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-
two.
An act to prohibit the taking of fish from the streams of Smytl
county, except with hook and line, and to prohibit taking of bass anc
trout from said streams during certain seasons, approved March twen.

An act prohibiting any person from shooting from any duck blind
belonging to another in the waters within the jurisdiction of the county
of Northumberland, approved March twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred
and twenty-three.
An act for the protection of muskrat in Northumberland and West-
moreland counties, approved March twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred
and twenty-three.
Chapter sixty-one of the acts of the assembly of nineteen hundred
and twenty-three approved March twenty-first, nineteen hundred and
twenty-three regulating the taking of fish from the streams of Scott
county.
An act to prohibit the taking, catching or killing of fish in the waters
of the Dan river and its tributaries or any lake or pond formed thereby
or the back waters thereof in any manner, except angling, within Pitt-
sylvania county and the corporate limits of the city of Danville, during
the spawning season, from March first to June fifteenth, inclusive, and
to provide penalties for the violation hereof, approved February twen-
ty-sixth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four.
An act to protect fish in the Tye river and its tributaries and the
Rockfish river and its tributaries in the county of Nelson, approved
March fourth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four.
An act for the protection of fish in the Nottoway river, in Notto-
way, Lunenburg, Dinwiddie, Brunswick, Sussex, Greensville and
Southampton counties, Virginia, and the tributaries of said river, pro-
viding rules and regulations by which fish may be taken therefrom and
fines for violations, approved March seventh, nineteen hundred and
twenty-four.

of Russell county, approved March fourteenth, nineteen hundred and
twenty-four.
An act for the protection of fish in the Blackwater river in Prince
George, Surry, Sussex, Isle of Wight. Southampton and Nansemond
counties, Virginia; providing rules and regulations by which fish may
be taken therefrom, and fines for violations, approved March four-

hunting therein by non-residents of the State of Virginia, and to pro-

An act to prohibit catching or destroying fish in the waters of Wise
and Dickenson counties, except with hook and line; and penalty there-

An act for the protection of fish and game in the waters of Lake
Tecumseh and Red Wing lake, in Princess Anne county, Virginia,
approved March twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and twenty-six.
An act to prescribe the open and closed season for partridges and
deer in the county of Dinwiddie, approvéd March twenty-fourth, nine-
teen hundred and twenty-six.
All, except section five, of an act to prohibit the taking of fish from
the streams of Giles county, except with hook and line, and to pro-
hibit the taking of fish from certain streams in said county during
certain seasons; to prohibit fishing on Sunday; to prohibit the use of
fish berries, dynamite or other explosive or chemical substances for
the taking or destruction of fish; and to prescribe the punishment for
violation thereof, approved March twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred
and twenty-six.
An act to prohibit the killing, catching or taking of fish from the
waters of Alleghany magisterial district of Montgomery county, ex-
cept by angling with hook and line or with one set of grab hooks at-
tached to line and rod, approved April twenty-first, nineteen hundred
and twenty-seven.
An act for the protection of foxes, coons, rabbits, squirrels, musk-
rats, opossum, otter and beaver, in the county of Lunenburg, aid to
provide punishment for the violation thereof, approved February

ties of Frederick and Clarke for a period of five years and providing

An act to prohibit any person from shooting from any duck blind
belonging to another in the waters of Middlesex county; limiting the
number of duck blinds to be built by any person, and prescribing penal-
ties for violation, approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and
