Chap. 123.—An ACT to permit Wm. B. Perry, Minnie M. Turner and Martha
A, Griffin to use fourteen (14) acres of land in the city of Portsmouth, Vir-
ginia, for a cemetery. , [H B 222]

Whereas, William B. Perry, Minnie M. Turner and Martha A.
Griffin are the owners of fourteen acres, more or less, of land in the
city of Portsmouth, Virginia, and the said land adjoins the Mount
Olive Cemetery and the Mount Calvary Cemetery, and the land of
said William B. Perry, Minnie M. Turner and Martha A. Griffin is
unfit for any purposes other than cemetery purposes; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
said William B. Perry, Minnie M. Turner and Martha A. Griffin be,
and they are hereby, authorized to use or sell for use as cemetery pur-
poses that certain tract of land, situate in the city of Portsmouth, Vir-
ginia, containing fourteen acres, more or less, and bounded on the
north by Perry street and the old Western Branch road, on the east
by the cemetery road, on the south by Mount Olive Cemetery, and on
the west by a ditch dividing this property from the Seaboard Air
Line Railroad property.
