Chap. 109.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3162 of the Code of Vir-
ginia, relating to what constitutes tidewater Virginia. [H B 111]

I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion thirty-one hundred and sixty-two of the Code of Virginia, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3162. Tidewater Virginia, as hereinbefore used, is hereby
defined to embrace the following counties: Accomac, Arlington, Caro-
line, Charles City, Chesterfield, Elizabeth City, Essex, Fairfax, Glou-
cester, Hanover, Henrico, Isle of Wight, James City, King George,
King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, Nan-
semond, New Kent, Norfolk, Northampton, Northumberland, Prince
William, Princess Anne, Richmond, Stafford, Warwick, Westmoreland,
York, Surry, Prince George, Sussex and Southampton.
