Chap. 101.—An ACT to authorize the governor of Virginia to lend to Williams-
burg, Incorporated, the old speaker’s chait and the “warming machine”
which were, before the removal of the State capitol to Richmond, a part
of the furniture of the capitol at Williamsburg, upon the complete restora-
tion of the old capitol building, at Williamsburg. [H B 101]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
governor of Virginia be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered
to lend to Williamsburg, Incorporated, the old speaker’s chair and-the
“warming machine,” formerly of the furniture of the old capitol in
Williamsburg, and now lodged in the capitol building at Richmond,
upon the complete restoration of the old capitol building at Williams-
burg, to be placed in said old capitol, and to there remain during the
pleasure of the governor, or the general assembly of this State, the
‘itle thereto to continue in the Commonwealth of Virginia. If the
restoration of the speaker’s chair herein referred to is attemnted the
governor of Virginia shall be advised thereof, and such restoration
shall be, as to the manner thereof, approved by him.
