ginta, as amended in relation to fishing in Elizabeth river and its. tribu-

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section thirty-two hundred and four of the Code of Virginia, as
amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3204. It shall be unlawful to take or catch fish in the
waters of the Elizabeth river or its tributaries by means of seines,
pound nets, fyke nets, or any device other than gill nets, dip nets,
or hook and line. For the violation of this section a fine shall be
imposed of not less than ten dollars nor more than twenty dollars
tor the first offense, and upon conviction of the second offense a
fne shall be imposed of not less than fifteen dollars nor more than
twenty-five dollars, but nothing in this section shall apply to Broad
creek, a tributary of the eastern branch of Elizabeth river.
