Chap. 69.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3463 of the Code of Vir-
ginia, as amended, relating to the salaries of the judges of the supreme
court of appeals. [S B 21]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion thirty-four hundred and sixty-three of the Code of Virginia,
as amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 3463. All judges of the supreme court of appeals of
Virginia whose terms of office, whether regular or unexpired terms,
begin after the passage of this amendatory act shall receive annual
salaries of six thousand six hundred dollars, except the president
of the court, who shall receive an annual salary of seven thousand
dollars. Said salaries shall be paid out of the State treasury in
monthly installments. AIl judges of said court whose terms of of-
fice began prior to the passage of this amendatory act shall receive
the sums then payable by law until the expiration of their present
terms of office.
