Chap. 380.—An ACT to appropriate $5,000.00 to defray the cost of publishing
the manuscripts edited by the Virginia war history commission and for in-
dexing the same. [S B 268]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That in
order to provide funds for the publication of the manuscript his-
tories as edited by the Virginia war history commission, to be pre-
pared under the direction of the State librarian, a sum not exceed-
ing two thousand five hundred dollars for the year ending February
twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and twenty-nine, and a sum not
exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars for the year ending
February twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and thirty, 1s hereby
appropriated out of any monies in the State treasury not otherwise
appropriated, the same to be paid by the treasurer on the warrant
of the comptroller, upon the proper voucher, or vouchers, required
by the comptroller, approved by the State librarian. The balance.
if any, of this appropriation, remaining unexpended on February
twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and thirty, shall be returned and
become a part of the general funds in the State treasury.
