tween the counties of King William and Hanover, for private use between
the lands of John W. Atkinson and George P. Haw. [S B 394]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Henrico
Lumber Company, Incorporated, be, and it is hereby, authorized and
empowered to build, construct, and maintain a bridge, across the
Pamunkey river, for its private use, from a point on the land of
John W. Atkinson, in King William county, to a point on the land of
George P. Haw, in Hanover county, to be used for a period of not
to exceed five years from and after the passage of this act ; and provided
further, that all of said bridge shall be removed when the use thereof
is not further needed; and that a permut be first obtained from the
landowners, on both sides of said stream for the construction, mainte-
nance and use of their lands therefor; and, that such bridge shall not
interfere with navigation.
