Chap. 357.—An ACT to authorize the clerk of the State corporation commission
to collect, receive and receipt for all charter fees required of domestic cor-
porations and all entrance fees required of foreign corporations, and to make
and file a duplicate copy of such receipt in Hieu of any certificate now re-
quired to be made as to such payments. [S B 390]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia as follows:
Section 1, All charter fees required to be paid into the treasury of
Virginia by domestic corporations and all entrance fees required to
be so paid by foreign corporations shall be paid to and received and
receipted for by the clerk of the State corporation commission, who
shall deposit such collections to the credit of the treasurer of Virginia
in a bank in the city of Richmond to be designated by the treasurer.
Section 2. The clerk of the State corporation commussion shall
make and file a duplicate copy of such receipt for such fees in lieu
of any certificate now required to be made as to such payments, which
shall have all the force and effect of a certificate by the treasurer that
such fees have been paid into the treasury of Virginia.
Section 3. All parts of any act inconsistent with the provisions of
this act are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from
its passage.
