1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act providing that any newspaper published in a
city adjoining or wholly or partly within the geographical limits
of any county shall be deemed to be published in such county or
counties as well as in such city, approved March fifteenth, nineteen
hundred and twenty, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

Section 1. Any newspaper published in a city adjoining or
wholly or partly within the geographical limits of any county, shall
be deemed to be published in such county or counties as well as in
such city, for the purpose of legal advertisements; provided, there
shall be no newspaper edited and published in the county or coun-
ties within which the city is located.
