Chap. 215.—An ACT to authorize the Governor, in conjunction with the State
highway commission, and local road authorities, to hold regional meetings
for the purpose of co-ordinating the State and local road construction
program; and to provide for the expenses thereof. [H B 156]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
governor may, in his discretion, hold regional meetings, when and
as Shall be determined by him, over this State, in conjunction with
the State highway commission, and the local road authorities of
such region, with a view of coordinating the road program of the
local road authorities with that of the State highway commission
is hereby directed to establish, in his department, an adequate in-
formative agency to work with the local road authorities in an
endeavor to coordinate road construction by the local road authori-
ties with the State highway commission.

The governor is hereby vested with the power to establish, alter,
increase, or diminish, from time to time, the regions herein referred
to.
