Chap. 199.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5349 of the Code of Vir-
ginia. as amended by chapter 540 of the acts of 1926, approved March 25,
1926, in relation to transfer of property in this State belonging to non-
resident decedents. {i B 77]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
fifty-three hundred and forty-nine of the Code of Virginia, as amended
by chapter five hundred and forty of the acts of nineteen hundred and
twenty-six, approved March twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and
twenty-six, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 5349. The stock, bonds, or certificates of debt of this State,
and of any corporation created by it and of any national bank having
its principal office in this State, standing in the name of a decedent
domiciled at the time of his death out of this State, and who is not
known by the officer or agent charged with the duty of transferring
such stock, bonds or certificates to have a personal representative
qualified as such within this State, may be transferred by the executor
or administrator of such decedent qualified according to the laws of
the domicile.
