Chap. 187.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 9 of chapter 112 of the acts
of assembly of 1924, page 132, the same being amendatory of an act entitled
an act to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of Carroll to let
to contract the public roads of said county, and levy a tax to keep the same
in order, approved February 29, 1892. [H B 273]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, that section
nine of chapter one hundred and twelve of the acts of assembly of
nineteen hundred and twenty-four, page one hundred and thirty-two,
the same being amendatory of an act entitled an act to authorize the
board of supervisors of the county of Carroll, to let to contract the
public roads of said county and levy a tax to keep the same in order,
approved February twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 9. The supervisor of each magisterial district shall make
a personal inspection as often as he considers necessary, of all the
roads and bridges in his district, and for this, as well as any other
necessary service rendered by him under this act, he shall be paid five
dollars per diem, not exceeding sixty-five days in any one year.
