Chap. 144.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Fauquier county
to levy an additional capitation tax on all residents of the county, subject to
the levy and payment ot the State capitation tax. [Hi B 233]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Fauquier county be, and it 1s hereby, author-
ized to levy an additional capitation tax not exceeding one dollar per
annum, on every resident within the limits of said county, who may
be subject to the levy and payment of the State capitation tax, as
provided by law, the same to be applied in aid of the public schools
of said county, or for such other county purposes as the board. shall
determine.
