Chap. 76.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act for the pro-
tection of foxes in the counties of Orange and Madison, approved March
14, 1924. [H B 35]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act for the protection of foxes in the counties of Orange
and Madison, approved March fourteenth, nineteen hundred and
twenty-four, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to trap foxes in
the counties of Orange and Madison, except during the monthof No-
vember in each year, and it shall be unlawful to shoot foxes in said
counties at any time, except in the protection of property.
Section 2. Those who trap foxes shall visit their traps once every
day and release any dog or dogs or other domestic animal or fowl that
may have been caught in said traps, and be liable for all damage done
by traps to dogs, domestic animals and fowls.
