Chap. 68.—An ACT to authorize incorporated towns to acquire land or quarry
rights in land and to quarry stone and manufacture crushed stone. .

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That every
incorporated town in this State shall have authority, through its
council or other governing body, to.acquire land suitable for stone
quarries, or the quarry rights in such land; to take stone therefrom,
and to manufacture the same into crushed stone for its own use.
Every such town shall also have authority to sell to its own residents
or to the State or any of its political subdivisions any crushed stone sn
manufactured and not needed for its own use.
