Chap. 64.—An A€T to authorize the board of supervisors of Tazewell county
to convey, with or without consideration, certain real estate in the town
of Tazewell and owned by the said county, to the American Legion, Sidney
Coulling Post, No. 133. [fH B 115]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
hoard of supervisors of Tazewell county be, and it is hereby, authorized
and empowered, in its discretion, to donate or sell, and convey by
proper deed to the American Legion, Sidney Coulling Post, number
one hundred and thirty-three, for the erection thereon of a memorial
building, a certain lot of land located in the town of Tazewell, and now
owned by the county of Tazewell, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Pine and Central streets,
thence with the east line of Central street in northeasterly direction,
one hundred and eighty-six feet; thence leaving Central street in
northeasterly direction, fifty-four feet to alley (approximately twelve
feet wide); thence with west line of alley, southwesterly one hundred
and eighty-five feet to Pine street; thence with north line of Pine
street in southwesterly direction, fifty-four feet to the beginning, and
being further described as all of said county lot as is now located on
the north side of Pine street just back of and across from the old
county jail and now being used as a garage and warehouse by the
county road force.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
