Chap. 312.—An ACT to authorize the hustings court of the city of Roanoke, or
the judge thereof in vacation, to appoint a bail commissioner for the city

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
1ustings court of the city of Roanoke, or the judge thereof in vaca-
‘ion, may appoint one of the commissioners in chancery of the said
court bail commissioner for such city. Such bail commissioner shall
nave the same powers and duties in respect to the city of Roanoke
as bail commissioners for counties have in respect to their counties.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
