Chap. 302.—An ACT to validate all annexations of territory by cities or towns
heretofore completed under the existing laws. [S B 155]

Approved March 24, 1926.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all
annexations of territory by cities and towns in the State of Virginia,
heretofore had under the provisions of chapter one hundred and
twenty of the Code of Virginia, sections twenty-nine hundred and
fifty-six, twenty-nine hundred and fifty-seven and twenty-nine hun-
dred and fifty-eight, where said causes have been finally determined
and are not now pending in the courts of the State, be and the same
are hereby validated and made effective.

2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and accordingly this
act shall be in force and effect from and after its passage.
