Chap. 30.—An ACT to authorize a school census in Gordon school district and in
Taylor school district of Orange county, Virginia, to be in lieu of the regular
quinquennial census taken in said districts in nineteen hundred and twenty-
five. {H! B 10]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
county school board of Orange county is hereby authorized to have
taken as soon as may be after the passage of this act a census of all
persons between the ages of seven and twenty years residing within
such school districts. The said census shall be taken in accordance
with the provisions of sections six hundred and fifty-three and six
hundred and fifty-four of the Code of Virginia, and acts amendatory
thereof, and shall be in lieu of the regular quinquennial census taken
in said district in nineteen hundred and twenty-five, and shall be for
the purpose of equitable distribution of school funds.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.

_ 1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
sixty-four hundred and thirty-three of the Code of Virginia, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 6433. Limitation of lien—No suit to enforce any lien
perfected under sections sixty-four hundred and twenty-seven, sixty-
four hundred and twenty-eight, and sixty-four hundred and twenty-
nine shall be brought after six months from the time when the whole
amount covered by such lien has become payable; provided, however,
that the filing of a petition to enforce any such lien in any suit wherein
such petition may be properly filed shall be regarded as the institution
of a suit under this section. Provided, however, the existing law
shall apply to all liens which have been filed at the time this act takes
effect. |
