Chap. 177.—An ACT to abolish the State Live Stock Sanitary Board and to
transfer all its powers and duties to the Board of Agriculture and Immigra-
tion. [S B 143]
Approved March 18, 1926.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
State live stock sanitary board be, and the same is hereby abolished.
2. All the powers conferred and all the duties imposed by law
upon the State live stock sanitary board are hereby transferred to,
the board of agriculture and immigration
3. The unexpended balance of any appropriation made to the
State live stock sanitary board is hereby transferred to the board of
agriculture and immigration, and may, as far as necessary, be used
and expended by the last-named board for the purposes stated in the
appropriation.
4, This act shall be in force on and after July first, nineteen hun-
dred and twentv-six.
