Chap. 148.—An ACT to fix the number of terms of the circuit courts of the
Thirty-fourth judicial circuit, and to authorize the judge of such courts to
fix the days for the commencement of the said terms. [H B 496]
Approved March 16, 1926.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That in
each of the counties of Halifax, Mecklenburg and Lunenburg, com-
prising the thirty-fourth judicial circuit, there shall be held six terms
of the circuit court in each year, the days for the commencement of
the same to be fixed by the judge of such courts, who may from time
to time, change the days for the commencement of such terms, or
any of them, as provided by general law.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
