Chap. 109.—An ACT to prohibit the hunting or chasing of deer with dogs in
the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Augusta, Highland, Rockingham, War-
wick, Bland, Giles and Shenandoah. [Hi B 50]
Approved March 6, 1926.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person to hunt for, chase or pursue deer with
dogs in the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Augusta, Highland, Rocking-
ham, Warwick, Bland, Giles and Shenandoah.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than ten
dollars nor more than two hundred and fifty dollars.
3. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby re-
pealed.
4. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
