Chap. 51.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Rockingham county
to issue time warrants for an amount not exceeding $20,000.00, for a period of
not exceeding four years. (SB B 186]
Approved February 26, 1924.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Rockingham county are hereby authorized and
empowered, for a period of four years beginning January first, nineteen
hundred and twenty-four, to issue time warrants not exceeding twenty
thousand dollars in the aggregate at a rate of interest not to exceed
six per centum per annum, to pay off and discharge the present floating
debt upon said county created in the construction and maintenance of
roads, to meet the State aid fund, and to meet current expenses, and to
renew said time warrants from time to time as may be necessary for
the period aforesaid.
2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
