Chap. 370.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to provide
for relief from employment on Sundays of certain employees of the State and
the departments thereof, approved March 16, 1920. [S B 361]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act
entitled an act to provide for relief from employment on Sundays of
certain employees of the State and the departments thereof, approved
March sixteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty, be amended and re-
2nacted so as to read as follows:
1. Every employee of the State government or of any department
thereof, who is required to be on duty seven days in each calendar week,
shall on and after the passage of this act be relieved from duty, without
any reduction in pay, and without any requirements that the time so
allowed shall subsequently be made up, at least two Sundays in each
calendar month. The heads of the various departments are hereby
authorized to take such steps as may be necessary to put this act into
effect.
