Chap. 364.—An ACT to validate, ratify, approve and confirm bonds heretofore
and hereafter issued on or under elections heretofore held authorizing the
issuance of such bonds by the county of James City or on behalf of any magis-
terial district therein for the purpose of constructing or otherwise improving
public roads or bridges of said county or of any magisterial district or dis-
tricts therein. _{H B 376]

Approved March 20, 1924.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all bonds
heretofore and hereafter issued on or under elections heretofore held
authorizing the issuance of such bonds by the county of James City or
on behalf of'any magisterial district therein for the purpose of construct-
ing or otherwise improving public roads or bridges of said county or of
any magisterial district or districts therein, be, and the same are hereby,
validated, ratified, approved and confirmed. Such bonds are hereby
declared to be valid and binding obligations, notwithstanding any de-
fect or irregularity in the calling or holding of said elections or in the
petitions presented to the circuit court praying for the holding of said
elections.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
