Chap. 356.—An ACT to authorize the convict lime board to sell and convey its
plant at Irvington, including the land and the buildings and other property
ocated thereon, and to pay the proceeds of such sale into the treasury of the

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the con-
vict lime board be, and it is hereby, authorized to sell, either as a whole
or separately, on the best terms obtainable by it, its plant at Irvington,
Virginia, including the land and the buildings and other property lo-
cated thereon, and to convey the same, or so much thereof as may be
sold, to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, by deed, duly executed and
acknowledged by the chairman of the said convict lime board, on behalf
of the board, after he shall have been authorized so to do by a resolution
adopted by a majority of the members of the said board; and the said
board shall pay the proceeds of such sale into the treasury of the State.
2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
