Chap. 256.—An ACT. to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act authorizing the
boards of supervisors of Accomac and Northampton counties to make appro-
priations for the expenses of the judge of the thirty-first judicial circuit, ap-
proved March 20, 1922. [S B 402}

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act
itled an act authorizing the boards of supervisors of Accomac and
rthampton counties to make appropriations for the expenses of the
ge of the thirty-first judicial circuit, approved March twentieth,
eteen hundred and twenty-two, be amended and re-enacted so as to
d as follows:
The boards of supervisors of Accomac and Northampton counties
hereby severally authorized to appropriate annually such sums as the
1 boards may deem proper, for the expenses of the judge of the
rty-first judicial circuit; provided, that the amount annually appro-
ated for such purpose by the board of supervisors of Accomac county
Il not exceed eight hundred dollars and that the amount annually
oropriated by the board of supervisors of Northampton county for
+h purpose shall not exceed four hundred dollars.
2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
