Chap. 203.—An ACT to direct the State tax board to make a study of the income
and inheritance tax system of the Federal government and of the several
States and to make such recommendations to the general assembly at its
next session as may lead to the improvement of the income tax system of this

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the State
tax board be and is hereby directed to make a study of the income tax
and inheritance system of the Federal government and of the several
States, and to present at the next session of the general assembly, a
proposed bill embodying such features as, in their opinion, may lead to
the improvement of the income and inheritance tax system of this State.
