Chap. 97.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled ““An act making
it the duty of the game wardens of Warren county to enforce in said
county, laws, by-laws, rules, regulations and ordinances relating to
trespassing of animals on the public highways of said county,” ap-
proved September 4, 1919. [H B 70]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
an act entitled ““An act making it the duty of the game warden
of Warren county to enforce in said county, laws, by-laws, rules,
regulations and ordinances relating to trespassing of animals
on the public highways of said county,’”’ approved September
fourth, nineteen hundred and nineteen, be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be the duty of the game wardens of
Warren county to enforce in said county all laws, by-laws, rules,
regulations and ordinances that may now or hereafter be in
force in said county, relating to trespassing of animals on the
public highways of said county. Whenever so requested by any
citizen of Warren county it shall be the duty of said game war-
den to investigate, and cause to be prosecuted to a conclusion,
any violator of the said laws, by-laws, rules, regulations and
ordinances, and any such violator, upon conviction, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than two dollars and
fifty cents nor more than five dollars.
Section 2. The board of supervisors of Warren county is
hereby authorized to allow the said game warden additional
compensation, not to exceed one hundred dollars in any one year,
for performing the duties required by this act.
