Chap. 82.—_An ACT to validate, ratify, approve and confirm bonds here-
tofore and hereafter issued on or under elections heretofore held
authorizing the issuance of such bonds by the county of Fairfax or
by any magisterial district therein for the purpose of macadamizing
or otherwise improving public roads or bridges of said county or of any
magisterial district or districts therein, or for the purpose of lending
the proceeds of such bond issues to the State highway commission or.
to the State under the terms of chapter 184 of the acts of assembly of
1920. [S B 70]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
all bonds heretofore and hereafter issued on or under elections
heretofore held authorizing the issuance of such bonds by the
county of Fairfax or by any magisterial district therein for the
purpose of macadamizing or otherwise improving public roads
or bridges of said county or of any magisterial district or dis-
tricts therein, or for the purpose of lending the proceeds of such
bond issues to the State highway commission or to the State
under the terms of chapter one hundred and eighty-four of the
acts of assembly of nineteen hundred and twenty, be, and the
same are hereby, validated, ratified, approved and confirmed.
Such bonds are hereby declared to be valid and binding obliga-
tions, notwithstanding any defect or irregularity in the calling
or holding of said elections or in the petitions presented to the
circuit court praying for the holding of said elections, and not-
withstanding the failure to give due and proper notice of said
elections.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from
its ‘passage.
