Chap. 116.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county
of York to allow the school board of said county to erect a school
building or buildings on the courthouse square of said county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of the county of York is hereby au-
thorized in its discretion, either by lease or otherwise, as to
the said board of supervisors may seem best, to allow the school
board of the said county of York to erect a school building or
buildings on the courthouse square of said county in the town
of York.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
