1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, shoot or trap ring-necked
pheasants in Shenandoah county at any time except between the
fifteenth day of November and the twenty-fifth day of November in
any year, and between the said dates it shall be unlawful for any
person to capture, kill, injure or destroy more than five ring-necked
pheasants.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less than five
nor more than fifty dollars, or by confinement in jail not more than
thirty days, or both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion
of the tribunal trying the case.
