Chap. 128.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5 of an act entitled an
act to incorporate the town of Glade Spring, in the county of Washington,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
five of an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Glade Spring,
in the county of Washington, approved ‘March eighth, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-five, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:
Sec. 5. It shall be lawful for the mayor and council of said town
to assess and collect an annual tax, in said town, on all such property,
real and personal, as is now subject to taxation by the revenue laws
of this State, and said mayor and council shall have the right to exer-
cise all powers conferred upon cities and towns by the general laws
of this State, as provided in the Code of Virginia, nineteen hundred
and nineteen, and acts amending the same.
